Tips On a Special Diet: The morning banana diet

DIET bananas in the morning or the morning banana diet is popular now. Reportedly, slimming techniques introduced in Japan this cespleng enough to lose weight even without exercise. As if this best of diet method....

How this diet method?

Was first introduced by Hitoshi Watanabe of Tokyo, Japan, the diet method thanks to a direct popular stories spread by word of mouth, publicity on the internet, television, newspapers and magazines, and books written by Watanabe.

In principle, this diet is very simple. At breakfast, you just need to eat bananas and drink warm water. In the afternoon and evening, you can eat anything, not even snacking. The abstinence only one, do not eat at the top eight in the evening and avoid ice cream, dairy products, alcohol, or dessert after dinner. Should eat sweets but only during the day.

What makes this method very popular diet is not the inclusion of elements of sports. The dieters are advised to exercise only if it would and could only exercise that does not make you stress. And I suggest to stay relaxed....

Accelerate digestion

Quite a few people who recognize the efficacy of this diet method, one opera singer from Japan, Kumiko Mori, who said he lost weight after applying 6.7 pounds of this banana diet in a short time.

There are many versions that try to explain why this banana diet can reduce weight. One was the theory which states that bananas contain enzymes that can accelerate the process of digestion and defecation, resulting in weight loss.

It is true, of fiber including bananas, can make the digestive system work faster and the food is not absorbed all, too many calories. But experts argue calorie reduction will not affect much on weight loss.

Meanwhile, another theory says the cause is the starch that makes the stomach always feels full and increase fat burning. These starches can naturally be found in carbohydrate foods such as green bananas, potatoes, rice seeds, and beans, but only if you eat in a cold state. This starch will make the digestion occurs in the small intestine and large intestine directly.

Still Controversy

Though popular, many experts who doubt the ability of this diet. Bananas and other fruits are often becomes mandatory meal for people who want to slim. But, in fact banana has no specific content for effective weight loss.

And also, do not abstain from food is not something that fits in an effort to lose weight. To be successful slimming business, you must be physically active and control calories. And to stay healthy, of course we should eat healthy food. Experts agree there is not any one food that can burn fat. If there is, of course obesity problem can be easily overcome, is not it?

Short Tips of Calories In to Lose Weight

if you always ask about, "so how many calories should i eat to lose weight?"
there is no easy answer to this question. Really does depend on the amount of calories you are currently consuming. It also has alot to do with the types of foods you are eating, when you are eating them and also what your body's needs are. This my post will show you how you can change your calorie intake so you will achieve weight loss results.

To see really good results and have effective weight loss you must do some sort of exercise as well as reducing calories.

Now the question, "how many calories should I eat to lose weight?" In this post I will give one example for you of how you can work the answer out to this question. If you are a normal eater → by normal I mean eat 3 regular meals a day and eat well → then to find out how many calories you should be eating to lose weight you should first start with calculating your current calorie intake.

For example average calorie intake is currently 2300 calories → this is the amount of calories you are eating to stay the same weight you are now.

Now keeping in mind that in order to lose weight you need to burn off more calories than you consume you would then work out daily meals plans that will contain fewer calories - so now you will be consuming less calories tailored to your specific needs, and don't forget as well as exercising you will definately see weight loss results.

What will happen is because you are eating less calories, your body will burn more fat because it has to use it's fat stores now, this is where you will lose weight → where as before it would just burn off the extra calories you were eating which is why your weight was staying the same.

This would only recommend a small decrease to start with say 100 calories, try this for a week and see what your results are → you should see results within a week If not then either increase your exercise, decrease your calorie intake once again or take a good hard look at your meal plans because you may have actaully exceeded your calorie limit and this is why you have seen no results.

So as you can see asking yourself that question how many calories should I eat to lose weight is not all that easy to answer. Calorie counting is a great way to kick start weight loss and also a great way to educate yourself on food and its contents (if done properly and sensibly) → however I would only recommend doing this kind of exercise for a short amount of time purely because long term weight loss involves much more than calorie counting....

10 Tips For Fast Fat Burning

you're looking for effective ways to program your diet?

In here, you can finding the most effective ways to burn fat and will maximize your results and minimize your waistline!!! Follow these 10 tips for fat burning if you want to lose weight with planning lead a healthier way of life.

1.Drink More Water
One of the best weight loss secrets is to ditch the sodas and stick to water! Experts say you should drink approximately eight glasses of water a day to stay hydrated and healthy. Instead of turning to calorie-laden or sugar-rich drinks, grab a refreshing glass of water. In addition to flushing toxins out of your system, drinking water encourages you to build muscle.

2. Eat More Meals
A traditional three-meals-a-day plan just will not cut it if you are in the market to burn fat. Your body is not able to metabolize large meals and will quickly turn any excess into fat. Many experts believe you should eat six small meals a day. Be sure you cut back on your food consumption at each meal, or else you will be doubling your intake—and doubling your fat storage!

3. Cut Calories Wisely
It may be tempting to drastically cut your calorie intake when starting a healthy lifestyle. Instead, use a step method when cutting your calorie intake to minimize risk. Reducing calories too quickly results in your body rapidly burning all available calories, which will lower your metabolism. Furthermore, you are more likely to maintain your healthy lifestyle through this step method.

4. Reward Yourself
When it comes to successfully dieting to burn the most fat, be sure to reward yourself. Everyone has temptations and favorite treats—so allow indulgence. You will be less likely to cheat on your new diet if you grant yourself small rewards. If you are a chocolate lover, treat yourself to a small square of chocolate or single chocolate kiss each evening.

5. Avoid Marathon Work Outs
The biggest mistake people make when looking to burn fat and lose weight is to have one long, extensive work out session. Instead, break up your work out plan into small chunks throughout the day. Take a brisk walk in the morning, enjoy a work out at lunch, and then exercise more in the evening. In addition to staying active all day long, breaking up your work out will better maintain your metabolism.

6. Mix It Up
Choosing to engage in a variety of quality exercises will keep your interest and best allow you to maintain your goal of burning fat. Instead of doing the same exercises each day—mix it up! Opt to swim laps one day, jog another, and bike the next. Rotating your activities will not only allow you to experience a variety of athletics, it will also allow you to better tone your body.

7. Work Out with Weights

One great way to maximize the amount of fat you are burning is to add a weight program to your work out routine. Weight training will not only tone your physique, but will strengthen your body and improve your general health. Lifting weights will also burn calories and fat more quickly than traditional exercising, and it will also boost your metabolism.

8. Choose Protein
Choose protein-laden foods for boosting your metabolism and enabling your body to burn fat rapidly. In addition to burning fat, consuming a protein-enriched diet will help you rebuild muscle after work outs and maintain leanness of that muscle. Wisely choose proteins for your diet. Take great care to pick proteins low in fat so you do not consume extra calories.

9. Skip Happy Hour
For those individuals who want to burn fat quickly, avoid alcohol. Rich in sugars and carbohydrates, alcohol is a calorie-rich substance. These empty calories can add up quickly and take away from necessary nutrients that should be included in your daily diet. Furthermore, alcohol acts as an inhibitor for burning fat, allowing your body to store it more quickly.

10. Try a Low GI Diet
A low GI diet is an excellent method of burning fat quickly. This diet encourages individuals to consume high amounts of foods with low rankings on the Glycemic Index. These foods are nutritious and will aid your body in burning fats and calories at a quicker pace. This diet includes many of your favorite fruits, vegetable, meats, dairy, and grain products.

Natural Ways to Lower Your Cholesterol

You are seeking natural ways to lower cholesterol?
calm, I would like to encourage you to stay with it. Don't allow yourself to be sidetracked by those in the medical community who believe that medication is the best answer. The truth is that while a statin medication is effective at reducing cholesterol, in the long run there are many severe side effects associated with it.

The best ways to lower cholesterol safely involve lifestyle and dietary changes. For instance, science has shown that there are two very effective natural substances found in plants such as whole grains, vegetables, fruits and nuts, that have a powerful effect on lowering cholesterol levels.

In the same way, the saturated fats found in meat and many processed foods have a powerful effect for raising cholesterol. Because of this, it is recommended to eliminate beef and pork from your diet until your cholesterol readings have come down to where they belong.

The two powerful substances found in plants that I mentioned earlier are soluble fiber (which is only found in plants, not meats) and plant sterols. Many of us are familiar with fiber, but plant sterols may be new to you. Sterols are natural substances found in all plants that have a very similar molecular makeup to that of cholesterol.

It is believed that, sterols compete with cholesterol for absorption into the bloodstream. This fact is so well proven that members of the mainstream medical community, the FDA, and alternative medicine all agree on their effectiveness.

Soluble fiber on the other hand, is essential because cholesterol attaches itself to the fiber in the intestines so that it is eliminated from the body.

Cholesterol lowering supplements that contain high amounts of plant sterols, when combined with a high fiber diet, provide one of the most effective natural ways to lower cholesterol that you can find.

Tips for Realistically Losing Weight

Obesity is a life threatening condition and is spreading at an alarming rate throughout Western society. It is particularly prevalent in the USA. However there are some steps you can take to reduce your weight and improve your health and lifestyle.

Reducing calorie intake:

What are calories? A calorie is a unit used to measure energy. It is required by most governments to print the calorie value of foods on the nutrition label of all foods that are sold to consumers. Because if this it is easier to calculate your calorie intake. Reducing calories means not just cutting food intake but being careful of the actual caloric value of the foods you are eating.

Reduction but not eliminating fats and oils:
Fat and oil is necessary for the body but we often eat foods which are too high in fats thus taking in more fat and oil than we need to. When you cut down fat and oil you will reduce calories and definitely manage to lose those pounds.

Decrease but do not eliminate carbohydrates:
Carbohydrates are necessary to the body but we often eat too much of this class of food resulting in the body storing these foods as fat. When you cut down carbohydrates you will reduce your weight.

Increase your protein levels:
It is often good to eat foods that are high in proteins as they are not as fattening as other foods. High protein foods are good to eat when you are reducing weight to prevent any muscle loss occurring as you shed those pounds.

Eat more fruits and vegetables:
These are good for providing nutrients to the body and are low in calories. They are a good alternative to "junk food" snacks. They will also increase fiber in your diet.

Reduction in sugar and sodium. Sugar is readily broken dawn by the body into energy and excess stored as fat making it a fattening food. Sodium eaten in excess can contribute to water retention by the body and prevent weight loss.

Increasing fiber in your diet:
This will help you to curb hunger pangs as fiber rich foods will help you feel full as they take longer to digest. Your digestive system will work better with an increase in fiber.Whole grain foods, unrefined foods, fruits and vegetables will give you more fiber.

Increase your fluid intake:
Drink more pure water especially. This will help to improve your health and fill you up.

Increase exercise:
Regular exercise will help you reduce weight and build muscle instead of storing fat. You can either work out for about 20 minutes 3 times a week or take a brisk daily walk.

When you use these steps you will reduce your weight. You will not achieve a super figure in one day but when you keep up a healthy diet you will lose weight steadily. Maintaining a healthy diet with regular exercise will ensure that you not only reduce but will keep the weight off. You will feel healthier and have more energy to do the things you really want to do in life.

How Eating Healthy Can Prevent Illnesses and Leave You Healthier

By Bettina Berlin

Unlike the people a few hundred years ago, we don't need to worry anymore about food. Today, we can get almost everything, anytime of the year. But is that always a blessing? Is it not this confusing offer of so many products advertised greatly, that often leads us to make the wrong choices?

Not everything lives up to its promises, and not every product is healthy. Many foods contain additives that can badly influence your health, and in our hectic time we more and more often grab ready-made meals and fast food, calorie-loaded chocolate bars or chips. It's a proven fact that unhealthy nutrition can lead to various severe conditions and illnesses, like obesity, high blood pressure or diabetes, each of which again can trigger other diseases. Eating healthy, on the other hand, can lower the risk of such health problems significantly:

Some foods help preventing diseases
Healthy eating avoids unnecessary strain on the body
A healthy diet prevents overweight and the illnesses that might follow

Healthy foods preventing diseases

It is proven that some foods, because of the nutrients they contain and their influence on our body, help to prevent certain diseases. These are mainly fruits and vegetables, foods that are cherished in a healthy nutrition and eaten regularly. Some examples for foods with a positive impact on your health are:

Lemons: fight fever, colds and pneumonia
Carrots: protect arteries and eyes, reduce diarrhea and constipation
Onions: inhibit stomach cancer, fight asthma and chronic bronchitis
Oranges: prevent colds and flues, but also more severe illnesses like heart disease, stroke and certain types of cancer
Brokkoli: prevents ulcers and cataracts, also seems to prevent lung, breast and colon cancer

Less strain on the body

The core principle of eating healthy is to give your body what it needs when it needs it how it needs it. A healthy diet focuses on providing nutrients in a balanced way, meaning you ensure eating all nutrients you need in the right amount, whilst avoiding overeating and unhealthy foods which place unnecessary strain on your body:

Fat is an important nutrient which your body needs, but we often eat way too much of it and the wrong fats. Eating healthy keeps your fat intake to the level you need and rather chooses healthy fats like vegetable fats.
Overeating with carbohydrates, a common problem of our time, places a big strain on your body too. A healthy diet avoids this by cutting down on carbs and preferring the complex ones.
Unhealthy food additives like preservatives don't have a place in a healthy diet.
People suffering from various illnesses often experience a relief of symptoms when following a certain diet. A vegetarian for example helps to remove toxins from the body, thus reducing arthritis pains.

Preventing overweight and its follow-diseases

It is common knowledge that unhealthy eating habits are one of the most frequent reasons of overweight and obesity. A healthy diet on the other hand can effectively prevent overweight and at the same time significantly lower the risk of its following diseases like diabetes, heart attack and stroke. And even more, eating healthy, when combined with increased physical activity, is the most effective way to lose weight.

Hopefully, by now you grasped the fact that eating healthy is definitely worth the effort. If you eat healthy, you will significantly lower your risk of suffering severe illnesses. So, what is eating healthy? Lots of fruit and vegetables, whole grain products, moderate amount of dairy and protein-rich foods (meat, eggs, legumes, fish) and as little as possible sugar and fat. There is no magic formula to prevent illnesses, but a healthy diet will certainly make a good impact on your health. That's why it's worth it.
